The Toxicological Society of Belgium and Luxembourg was created in 1988. Its aims are to promote analytical toxicology, in its broadest sense, in clinical, experimental, industrial, medico-legal and other fields of application. Since the founding, the BLT includes both analytical toxicologists and clinical toxicologists.
