RIP Dr. Peter Blanckaert

The BLT was saddened to hear about the unexpected death of Peter Blanckaert, coordinator of the Belgian Early Warning System on Drugs. Peter was well known and respected for his expertise related to New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) and instrumental for Belgium’s generic legislation covering NPS. He will be missed as a respected scientist, knowledgeable colleague, dear friend, super uncle, beloved brother or son. The BLT expresses its deepest condolences to Peter’s colleagues, friends and family.
