TIAFT2022: BLT young scientists receive the Best Paper Award and the Award for Best TIAFT Bulletin Paper
At the latest Annual Meeting of TIAFT (The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists), TIAFT2022, which took place from Sep 5-8, 2022 in Versailles, France, BLT young scientists were once again very successful, receiving the Young Scientists Award for Best Paper and the Award for best TIAFT Bulletin Paper. The BLT wishes to congratulate both awardees and their (former) supervisor.
Marthe Vandeputte (Laboratory of Toxicology at Ghent University, Belgium) received the Young Scientists Best Paper Award for her publication “Characterization of recent non-fentanyl synthetic opioids via three different in vitro µ-opioid receptor activation assays”, published in Archives of Toxicology (hyperlink).
Lisa Delahaye (formerly at the Laboratory of Toxicology at Ghent University, Belgium; now at Eurofins Forensics in Bruges, Belgium) received the Award for best TIAFT Bulletin Paper for her contribution “The added value of paracetamol-protein adduct determinations in clinical and forensic toxicology”, published in Issue 51 (3).
