BLT @ TIAFT2024 in Sankt Gallen

From Sep 2nd – 6th, the 61st International Meeting of TIAFT was held in Sankt Gallen, Switzerland. Twenty-eight Belgians, the vast majority BLT member, attended the TIAFT2024 meeting.

In line with the active contribution history of BLT members at TIAFT meetings, also at this meeting there were many oral and poster contributions. Axelle Timmerman (UGent Lab of Toxicology), whose TIAFT attendance was supported by a BLT travel grant, was awarded the Young Scientists Award for Best Poster presentation.

Sarah Wille and Christophe Stove were both re-elected for the new TIAFT Board, Sarah becoming the President-Elect and Christophe remaining Treasurer.
