BLT News – Summer 2025: Granted scholarships, Upcoming meeting (Oct 7) & Call for working group members on hair analysis

7 BLT Scholarships awarded

This year -exceptionally- 7 BLT scholarships were awarded to attend upcoming conferences:

Call for Abstracts:
We welcome one-page abstracts on toxicology- and TDM-related topics (no specific formatting required) for the short communications session. Please send your submission to secretary@blt.be by September 10, 2025.

Hair Analysis – Call for Working Group Members

Many of us regularly perform or have to deal with hair analyses, but interpretation remains inconsistent. To address this, BLT aims to establish a working group to draft a Belgian-Luxembourg guideline for the analysis and interpretation of results from hair sample analysis.
Interested members active in this area are invited to apply by emailing secretary@blt.be with a brief motivation. To keep the group manageable, we aim for one representative per laboratory.
The first in-person meeting of the working group will be held on October 7 in Brussels, just before the BLT event.
